The Role


The Associate Integration Engineer will be an entry-level position provided with a significant opportunity to learn new skills and gain professional team-centered experience. They will serve as a hands-on contributor and a source of support to Senior Integration Engineers and Business Operations customers to support existing integration automation through small coding and configuration tasks, documentation of solution design, and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the current state of integrations
  • Help Document the technical and functional details of current integrations
  • Help observe the patterns of defects with the integrations and perform root-cause analysis on specific business questions, identify points of interest and find ways to improve the process based on these results
  • Provide research and administrative assistance for special projects as assigned. In addition to the core responsibilities, the position may be asked or may seek, to engage unique abilities, strengths, and passions through participation in cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical support for existing integration interfaces
  • Exhibit ability to take instruction and guidance, as well as ask questions and for help with needed, from senior team members and apply to given tasks
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with team, providing updates on assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Achieved or working toward a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a technology-related field
  • Proficient experience with, or completion of upper-level courses for, software coding logic.
  • Proficient experience with, or completion of upper-level courses for, data
  • Ability to learn new things in a short amount of time and ask questions and for help when appropriate.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
  • Good presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience operating in an Agile development environment
  • Familiarity with the usage of Agile tools (JIRA / Confluence)
  • Working knowledge of SCM tools (Git preferred) and code management best practices
  • Experience with AWS
