Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in basic failure analysis and problem solving tactics by performing functional and reliability bench testing
Assure product quality by completing tolerance analysis studies for parts and assemblies
Enter bill of materials into SAP by releasing Engineering Change Notices in Windchill
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering strongly preferred; or minimum of (4) years of job-related experience as defined above in the Essential Functions section
Flexibility to travel up to 10% of time; international travel required
Preferred Qualifications
Intern or co-op experience in mechanical engineering
Analytical skills to support design creation of electro-mechanical systems by completing calculations involving strengths of materials, statics, stress-strain equations, and dynamics.
Ability to work within cross-functional teams to create electro-mechanical products
Working knowledge of MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
