About Hebbia

The user interface for AGI– Hebbia is AI that works the way you work.

Designed to be generally capable– it can tackle even the most complex tasks, citing answers over any amount of sources. Job Description

Law Engagement Managers play a critical role building out our new vertical: you will be responsible for the strategic value creation and deployment of Hebbia for legal uses. In doing so, you will reimagine critical workflows in the legal space, help build a world-class team, and define the future of AI in law.

We’re looking for highly motivated lawyers comfortable in a fast growing and ambiguous environment. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable challenging the status quo and rethinking the way “things have always been done” in the legal space. This person will be the voice of the customer for law – understanding explicit and implicit needs for lawyers across practices to inform product requirements.

If you love solving tough challenges and building strong relationships in the process, come join Hebbia and change the future of law with AI.

Responsibilities

  • Customer-centricity: Deeply understand various law practices and their most pressing needs for Hebbia – creatively engage the application and support existing users
  • Relationship orientation: Own and build relationships with senior counsel and law firm executives; serve as a trusted advisor in AI adoption and risk mitigation
  • Structured approach: Synthesize complicated and ambiguous legal use cases into structured applications and processes for users
  • Define roadmap: Shape the future of the product – bring the voice of the lawyer to our product and engineering teams and strategically advise on the future of the product
  • Grow our team: Help to build the Engagement team – with potential opportunity to manage a dedicated law engagement team in the near future

Who You Are

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a legal setting, with a preference for some portion in larger corporate law firm (e.g., M&A, securities, intellectual property, finance)
  • Strong grasp on AI and the different applications of AI in the legal space
  • Excellent relationship management skills – including with senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong ownership mindset – you see problems or white space and make it yours
  • Excitement to own problems and white space: from blue sky ideation to driving in-the-weeds success with individual users
  • Innate bias towards action and impact, while working in a nimble and fast-paced environment

Compensation

In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the compensation range for this position is set between $100,000 and $220,000 (base salary and bonus). However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. Benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, daily catered lunch, and unlimited PTO.
