About Rhino Federated Computing

Rhino Federated Computing solves one of the biggest challenges in AI: seamlessly connecting siloed data through federated computing. The Rhino Federated Computing Platform (Rhino FCP) serves as the ‘data collaboration tech stack’, extending from providing computing resources to data preparation & discoverability, to model development & monitoring - all in a secure, privacy preserving environment. To do this, Rhino FCP offers flexible architecture (multi-cloud and on-prem hardware), end-to-end data management workflows (multimodal data, schema definition, harmonization, and visualization), privacy enhancing technologies (e.g., differential privacy), and allows for the secure deployment of custom code & 3rd party applications via persistent data pipelines. Rhino is trusted by >60 leading organizations worldwide - including 14 of 20 of Newsweek’s ‘Best Smart Hospitals’ and top 20 global biopharma companies - and is leveraging this foundation for financial services, ecommerce, and beyond.

The company is headquartered in Boston, with an R&D center in Tel Aviv.

About the Role

Rhino Federated Computing is hiring a Engagement Director responsible for driving the success of existing programs with strategic customers, acting as a program quarterback, and building governance models to ensure stakeholder alignment and visible progress. They will quantify and document the ROI and impact of the platform to support renewals and expansions, and develop engagement playbooks.

This role is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and focuses on program delivery and engagement continuity, actively identifying upsell opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the success of existing accounts and programs with Rhino’s most strategic customers, ensuring deployments deliver measurable technical, scientific, or business impact.
  • Act as the account and program quarterback for complex, multi-stakeholder engagements: coordinate across Rhino’s teams, customer executives, and technical/scientific users.
  • Build and manage governance models (steering committees, value reviews, dashboards) to ensure stakeholders remain aligned and progress is visible.
  • Systematically quantify and document the ROI, scientific, and technical impact of the platform to build an irrefutable business case for renewal and expansion.
  • This role is an Individual Contributor with an early mandate to build the engagement playbook as the groundwork for a future Strategic Account Manager (SAM) team; may hire 1-2 SAMs within 12 months as ARR scales.
  • Develop and refine Rhino’s engagement playbooks: how we structure executive reviews, track outcomes, and communicate program impact.
  • Collaborate closely with vertical sales leaders and the CCO, who serve as executive sponsors and commercial owners; this role focuses on program delivery and engagement continuity. Actively identifies and surfaces upsell / expansion opportunities to sales leadership.
  • Systematically capture and document customer insights (technical gaps, workflow friction, scientific requirements) through structured feedback loops with Product and Engineering
  • Proactively identify and escalate program risks, customer health signals, and potential churn indicators
Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of experience in enterprise engagement management, client services, or consulting, ideally with exposure to data-driven or scientific/technical programs and where ‘white-glove’ engagement is critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder programs and drive them to visible outcomes.
  • Credibility with technical and scientific stakeholders: comfortable engaging with data scientists, researchers, and technical leads as well as business sponsors.
  • Strong skills in governance and facilitation: running steering committees, preparing dashboards, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; adept at engaging both executives and working-level teams.
  • Experience managing or mentoring account managers or similar roles, or readiness to step into people leadership.
