Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator to join our growing team in New Jersey. As an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator, you will work in a dynamic environment supporting large scale commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. The Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator must be able to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to program changes or challenges.  We are looking for an exceptional person who enjoys working in an innovative environment.

The Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator must be able to manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities in a rapidly changing environment and adapt quickly to operational challenges, subcontractor issues, and market conditions. This position requires excellent organizational and people skills. Experience working with trade organizations, contractors, outreach staff and union organizations is desired.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Educate and assist service providers and customers with program participation by answering energy efficiency program questions, reviewing project details, and providing guidance on the application process.
  • Maintain project documentation, and assist with administrative tasks such as budget tracking and invoice processing
  • Assist with organizing meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities
  • Establish and maintain a professional customer rapport, including identifying and anticipating customer needs and proposing solutions.
  • Promptly and accurately address customer concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships.
  • Understand the organization and decision-making process to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule, and potential energy savings.
  • Perform and review energy savings calculations for evaluating energy savings and environmental impact.
  • Provide technical and customer support to energy efficiency incentive program participants.
  • Manage on-time delivery of technical reports to customers and subcontractors/service providers as needed.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects, provide timely updates, and ensure our customers and subcontractors/service providers are up to date with program information.
  • Communicate efficiently with subcontractors/service providers, customers, and clients to meet program requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of project coordination experience or similar within the energy efficiency industry
  • BA or BS degree is preferred, preferably in a field focused on energy, technology, policy, research, and/or sustainability. Advanced degrees are a plus.   Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS office and CRM; the ability to learn and operate company proprietary software
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience

  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.  
  • Client-centered and customer service-focused. 
  • Ability and experience in short and long-range planning and strategy.  
  • Technical acumen regarding residential & multifamily energy use and/or building science.  
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and self-direct your work.  
  • Proficient in establishing job and work process flows.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000.  In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.  Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location. 

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits. 

Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.
