About Rodan Energy
Rodan Energy is a North American leader in distributed energy resources and energy intelligence, enabling a more reliable, cost-effective, and decarbonized grid. We partner with large energy users, utilities, and grid operators to design, finance, and operate high-impact DER solutions—including asset optimization, demand response, metering, and power system engineering. Managing 1,400+ MW of flexible capacity across Ontario, NYISO, PJM, MISO, and AESO, we make sustainable attainable.
Why Join Rodan:
  • Build something: Be part of establishing Rodan's US market presence. Own the playbook for how we operate in PJM.
  • Grow fast: Clear path to Senior Analyst and Manager as our US portfolio expands. High performers get more responsibility quickly.
  • Multi-market exposure: Learn NYISO, PJM, MISO, AESO and IESO—rare breadth for an early-career role.
About the Role:
You will own the US Demand Response playbook. Rodan is growing our presence in US electricity markets, and we need someone to own the administration of our NYISO and PJM demand response programs. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage enrollments, track compliance, monitor market developments, and ensure our clients and portfolio are positioned to capture maximum value. You'll work directly with the Director of Energy Markets and collaborate across Operations, Settlements, and Account Management teams.
What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end program administration for NYISO ICAP/SCR and PJM capacity programs—enrollments, compliance documentation, registration deadlines, and audit readiness
  • Track client performance against program requirements; proactively flag issues and coordinate resolution
  • Monitor NYISO and PJM market rule changes, tariff filings, and program modifications; prepare market intelligence briefings
  • Support capacity auction analysis and bid strategy development
  • Prepare client performance reports and contribute to proposals for US business development
  • Develop and maintain program SOPs, compliance checklists, and process documentation
What You Bring
  • 2-4 years in the energy industry - demand response, load management, or utility program experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with ISO/RTO market structures—NYISO and/or PJM experience preferred but not required
  • Understanding of demand response program mechanics: capacity obligations, performance measurement, compliance requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort navigating ISO portals and large datasets
  • Strong written and verbal communication—can translate technical concepts into client-ready deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field
Who You Are
  • An owner mindset: You take full accountability for your work. You don't wait to be told what to do—you figure it out and get it done.
  • Detail-obsessed: You catch errors before they become problems. You double-check your work and take pride in accuracy.
  • Proactive: You raise issues early and provide status updates without being asked. No one has to chase you for deliverables.
  • Curious: You want to understand how markets work, not just execute tasks. You ask good questions and continuously learn.
Location & Compensation: Remote-first role with occasional travel to Mississauga, ON headquarters

Rodan Benefits Include:

  • Competitive base salary between $68,000 - $90,000 plus bonus
