Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
The End-to-End Systems Lead is accountable for the full technical lifecycle of experiences and platforms, from concept inception through final system delivery. This role owns all technical aspects of system development, ensuring that user needs are translated into robust system requirements and architectures, and that delivered systems meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
This leader operates across disciplines, driving alignment among product management, research, experience design, software, systems engineering, and test teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Ownership & Accountability
Serve as the single point of technical accountability for end-to-end system delivery across experiences and platforms.
Own system-level technical decisions, trade-offs, and integration strategies.
Ensure alignment between product vision, user needs, and technical execution.
User Needs & Requirements Development
Partner with Product Management and Research to elicit and refine user and business needs.
Translate user needs into clear, testable, and traceable system requirements.
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from concept through validation.
System Architecture & Design
Lead development of system architecture, defining key interfaces, dependencies, and integration points.
Ensure architectural decisions support scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Drive cross-functional technical reviews and architecture alignment.
Integration & Quality Assurance
Collaborate closely with software, hardware (if applicable), and platform teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
Partner with Systems Test teams to define verification and validation strategies.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality system delivery.
Own technical risk identification and mitigation planning across the lifecycle.
Lifecycle Leadership
Guide programs from concept definition through development, integration, validation, and final system release.
Support roadmap planning with technical feasibility input and long-range capability planning.
Anticipate future platform and experience needs to inform architectural direction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software, or related field).
10+ years of experience in systems engineering, platform development, or complex product delivery.
Demonstrated experience leading system architecture and cross-functional technical integration.
Strong understanding of requirements development, system decomposition, and verification/validation processes.
Experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary systems from concept to launch.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
