The Employee Services function within Dyson Business Services (DBS) organization provides process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions, with the goal of innovating and enhancing employee administration and payroll services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.  This role is critical in transitioning the existing processes into the standardized ways of working based on Dyson policies.

The Employee Services Lead is responsible for managing the team of Employee Administration and Payroll Specialist to for ensuring the prompt and accurate payment of salaries to the dedicated region, as well as standardizing and simplifying end-to-end processes related to the employee lifecycle. The aim is to provide consistent user experiences across the enterprise, increase productivity, enhance HR services/capabilities, and accelerate automation solutions.

This role will need to cover HR Operations matters in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, motivate and lead the team of Employee Administration and Payroll Specialists.
  • Conduct team performance evaluations assessed against industry standards for speed and cost.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR service delivery process, including onboarding, job changes, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Oversee and manage HR operations matters in Singapore, ensuring alignment with local practices and regulations.
  • Monitor the quality of the service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and increase operational efficiency,
  • Ensure compliance with the local labor law – including Singapore employment laws and regulations – and corporate policies
  • Ensure that the service delivers a positive employee experience by providing prompt, accurate, and helpful support to employees and managers.
  • Ensure all HR Administration processes handled by DBS incorporate appropriate control mechanism, including 4-eye-check, data protection and compliance tasks.
  • Act as first point of contact for escalations.
  • Manage the third-party connections with payroll and other services providers.
  • Manage relationships with the main stakeholders among People Function and Finance teams.
  • Monitor the workload and ensure the resources to provide Service Delivery at the expected level.
  • Required to frequently travel to Singapore at least 1-2 times per week (company transportation provided).

Competencies and skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in HR operations management, including payroll administration, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's employment laws and regulations is crucial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and the MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge and expertise to effectively manage and optimize HR processes.
  • Proven managerial experience with a track record of effective team leadership.
  • Strong background in delivering high-quality service within a shared services or HR operations environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent ability to engage, influence, and motivate team members.
  • Hands-on experience in process engineering and re-engineering to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
