The Role: Email Developer (Contractor) 1099. ( $50/hr-$90/hr DOE, M-F, 8 hours a day)

Forge Global is seeking an Email Developer (Contractor) to bring our lifecycle marketing campaigns to life through engaging, responsive, and data-driven email experiences. As an email developer at Forge, you’ll transform design mockups and prebuilt templates into high-performing emails using HTML, CSS, and Liquid in Braze.  

We’re looking for a detail-oriented developer who’s passionate about email craftsmanship and eager to help our lifecycle team improve efficiencies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design, build, test, and launch visually consistent, accessible, and brand-aligned responsive emails using HTML, CSS, and Liquid to support business initiatives. 
  • Configure email campaigns and Canvas flows within the Braze platform. 
  • Conduct thorough QA and troubleshooting across email clients, devices, and browsers to ensure accurate rendering, functionality, and compliance with coding best practices and industry standards. 
  • Test all aspects of each email including links, images, and dynamic content and review messaging for error-free execution. 
  • Implement personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content strategies in Braze. 
  • Coordinate the email approval process, incorporating feedback, edits, and input from stakeholders during QA, and ensuring all campaigns receive final approval while meeting brand, legal, and compliance standards prior to deployment. 
  • Manage your weekly workload efficiently to meet campaign deadlines. 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in email development. 
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and Liquid. 
  • Proven experience building responsive, cross-browser HTML emails. 
  • Hands-on experience in Braze. Braze certification preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. 
  • A problem-solver’s mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
