You will use your expertise in Elixir and other languages to design, implement, and maintain API’s, web components, and supporting services which will operate at scale serving our customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the reliability and scalability of our Elixir-based applications and APIs. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Engineering.
All Engineering roles at Array are subject to On-Call rotations after a ramp/training period. This role is open to contract OR full time employment.
You Will:- Design and implement secure, scalable services, API’s, and web components primarily in Elixir.
- Analyze logs and application data to identify and resolve issues.
- Assist with incident response efforts for Elixir-based systems and APIs.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure the stability and performance of production environments.
- Promote best practices for functional programming and system design.
- Evaluate architectural changes and provide expertise on Elixir's impact.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant Elixir expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework in production.
- Proficiency in functional programming and distributed systems design.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and GitHub.
- Knowledge of APIs, cloud environments, and distributed system architecture.
- Awareness of emerging trends in Elixir and functional programming.
Pay transparency: $150,000 + for base salary, depending on experience.
