Department Overview
Motorola Solutions creates innovative, mission-critical communication solutions and services that help public safety and commercial customers build safer cities and thriving communities around the world.
The RF Site hardware engineering department has a mixture of hardware and firmware engineers, product architects, system architects, and integration / test engineers. Our team is focused on the development of the system hardware used in our RF site products.

The candidate will be responsible for designing automated test systems, writing automated test code, and validating that the infrastructure and networking products meet regulatory and system requirements.

The candidate will be responsible for designing automated test systems, writing automated test code, and validating that the infrastructure and networking products meet regulatory and system requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of RF systems including analog and digital modulations.

  • Proficiency with LabVIEW and Python.

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as TIA-102, TIA-603,
    EN300-113, EN300-086, UL, CE.

  • Basic understanding of EMC testing such as radiated emissions, conducted emissions, radiated immunity, conducted immunity, surge, etc.

  • Expert knowledge use of RF ATE (Automated Test Equipment): Vector / Network, Spectrum, Signal Analyzers, etc.

  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.

  • Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills. 

  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

Target Base Salary Range: $72,700  - $145,400  USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s (BS) or Master's MS) degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 5+ years of RF product test and regulatory experience (or equivalent)
