Job DescriptionPosition Summary
The EH&S Manager I is responsible for implementing and managing health and safety programs on active construction sites. This role ensures compliance with OSHA standards and CRB’s internal safety protocols, focusing on injury prevention, hazard mitigation, and fostering a safety-first culture among site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement site-specific Health & Safety plans in alignment with CRB policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and CRB safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and education.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction safety or industrial safety management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on active job sites.
Preferred Certifications
- ASP, CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety certifications.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience with mobile safety reporting tools and digital documentation.
CRB offers a complete and competitive benefit package designed to meet individual and family needs.
In accordance with Massachusettes Pay Transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $88,000 - $115,000/year based on experience.
