We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Education Partnership Manager USA (Higher Education, Government & Channel Partnerships) to lead strategic engagement efforts with universities, government agencies, and key education organizations across the United States. 

As an Education Partnership Manager, your tasks will include the following:  

  • Execute a U.S. business development strategy that expands LANGUAGECERT recognition and market share across higher education, pathway programs, and workforce sectors. 
  • Build and manage relationships with universities, community colleges, ESL programs, accreditation bodies, and government education agencies. 
  • Lead institutional recognition campaigns, securing acceptance of LANGUAGECERT exams for admissions, placement, and credentialing purposes. 
  • Identify and grow channel partners (language schools, test centers, recruitment agencies, and education consultants) to promote and deliver LANGUAGECERT products. 
  • Represent LANGUAGECERT at U.S. and international education conferences (e.g., NAFSA, TESOL, IACAC…), delivering presentations and building advocacy among institutional decision-makers. 
  • Partner with global marketing and communications teams to design outreach campaigns tailored to the U.S. higher education landscape. 
  • Track performance metrics, recognition achievements, and partner success stories, reporting regularly to senior leadership. 
  • Collaborate with customer support and operations teams to ensure seamless partner experience and continuous improvement. 
  • Stay informed on U.S. policy changes, immigration trends, and education industry developments that may impact recognition and test adoption. 

What We Look For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s in Education, Business, International Relations, or related field preferred). 
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional relations within international education, English language assessment, or higher education sectors. 
  • Proven record of achieving recognition and adoption of educational programs or assessments among universities or government entities. 
  • Deep understanding of U.S. international admissions, pathway programs, and English Language Learning ecosystem. 
  • Experience working with stakeholders across academia, government, and education agencies. 
  • Strong consultative sales, presentation, and relationship management skills. 
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL a plus).
  • Spanish a plus
  • Advanced computer literacy required; ECDL Advanced certification desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent software will be considered an asset.  
  • Willingness to travel across the U.S. and occasionally internationally (~30–40%). 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and execution skills. 
  • Collaborative team player with a relationship-first approach. 
  • Passion for education, language learning, and global engagement. 
  • Ability to influence and build trust with senior institutional leaders. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced, international environment.

Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) 

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared. 

  •   If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include: 
  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check 
  •    Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence) 
  •    HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist     Check (CTC) 
  •   Financial background check 
  •   Employment reference check 

If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK. In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
