Planner 5D is on a mission to empower teachers and improve education through an immersive design platform. We are seeking an EdTech Product / Program Manager with strong business acumen to lead our educational initiatives and align our product development with the needs of schools and students.
As our EdTech Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of this educational movement – bridging the gap between our innovative technology and the needs of educators, and ultimately helping students unleash their creativity in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Educational Initiatives: Assist teachers and the team in designing and implementing training courses and methodologies, drawing from best practices and innovative approaches.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with schools and educators(K-12), ensuring ongoing collaboration and support on a systematic base.
- Product Development: Defining and evolving Planner 5D’s for educational use. Building the process from scratch for the educational K-12 program.
- Ensure a strong online presence and develop blog content that provides valuable insights and product updates to Planner 5D’s audience.
- Market & User Research: Stay informed on educational technology trends and U.S. classroom requirements to ensure Planner 5D remains relevant and valuable in schools.
- Stakeholder Communication: Working with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product growth.
- Regularly monitor, enhance, and report on main product KPIs, providing transparency and actionable insights to the team and the main business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Edtech domain on management, product management, or a related role.
- Experience working with product roadmaps, writing product requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to build and launch features.
- Strong project management skills. Able to manage multiple stakeholders (both internal and in schools) effectively.
- Previous experience as an educator and deep familiarity with the U.S. education system (K-12 required)
- Deep understanding of school workflows, curriculum standards, and classroom technology needs.
- Experience in reporting, ensuring transparency and delivering actionable insights to the team and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate non-sales, mission-focused relationships with educators, school administrators, and partner organizations.
- A genuine passion for improving student learning experiences is a must.
- Being a Planner 5D user and interest to technologies is a big plus.
