Present and Future Growth
We have aggressive growth plans for 2025 and beyond, and you will be part of our first-ever in-house Business Development and Account Management team.

Key locations include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, New York, and the Washington D.C. Metro areas. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home; travel percentages will vary according to role.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Engineer to join our Edge Computing team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing edge computing solutions for our customers and partners. Your expertise will help unlock the full potential of our platform, leveraging our vast network presence to deliver cutting-edge applications and services.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to design and implement edge computing solutions tailored to specific needs.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our edge computing platform, including its architecture, capabilities, and limitations.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify and prioritize feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.

  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, guides, and training materials to assist customers and partners in utilizing our platform.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to customers and partners, ensuring timely issue resolution.

  • Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) projects, pilots, and trials to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of our solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to continuously improve our offerings.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or similar technical role, focusing on edge computing, cloud computing, or distributed systems.

  • Strong technical background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda).

  • Familiarity with edge computing frameworks such as OpenFaaS, AWS Greengrass, or Azure IoT Edge.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with network protocols, architecture, and operations (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, BGP).

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code).

  • Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their respective edge computing offerings.
