Engineers at Analog Devices (ADI) tackle some of the most challenging engineering problems globally. To achieve this effectively, they require the best IC design infrastructure and a responsive support system. The Engineering Enablement (EE) team at ADI aims to provide this by building the necessary infrastructure and support for ADI’s design community. Our team comes from diverse technical backgrounds and strives to deliver the best user experience to design teams, utilizing a comprehensive range of EDA design tools, processes, and workflows.

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff level EDA Engineer to lead Project Enablement and Execution Readiness assessments and collaborate closely with product development teams. As an EDA Engineer in our Engineering Enablement Customer Success Program team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the success of development plans, ensuring readiness for key products through engineering readiness assessments, and driving a proactive, results-oriented approach to engineering development activities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Offer specialized technical CAD support to ADI's design community, focusing on Digital and A/MS tools/flows, Design Management, Job Schedulers, Resource Optimizers, and Cloud deployment.
  • Drive initiatives to identify essential product development activities that enhance project success through comprehensive assessments of technology and team readiness.
  • Lead engagement and decision-making processes within the Engineering Enablement (EE) team to define commitments and priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely achievement of product development milestones, addressing customer requirements, resolving issues, and managing design adjustments as needed.
  • Serve as the customer advocate, promoting bug resolutions, feature updates, or modifications that improve customer satisfaction and usability.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve and refine the customer success strategy.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand emerging requirements, applications, and industry trends, championing product enhancements that meet these evolving needs.
  • Work closely with product development and R&D teams to align the product roadmap with customer-focused insights and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) with 7+ years of experience, with at least 3years experience EDA
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence global, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven skills in automation and programming languages (Skill, Perl, Python, Tcl, Bash).
  • Exposure to deep-submicron manufacturing technologies and tools/methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with revision control systems, issue tracking, and collaboration tools.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the IC product development lifecycle from conceptualization to release to sales.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $125,250 to $187,875.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
