As a key leader within Red Bull's Large Format Sales organization, this role is responsible for driving growth and building strong partnerships across our largest regional grocery customers. Leading a team of Regional Sales Managers, you'll help shape customer strategies, identify new opportunities, and ensure the team has the support, resources, and direction needed to deliver outstanding results.

Working closely with retail partners and cross-functional teams, you'll bring innovative initiatives to life, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable growth in sales, market share, and overall business performance.

This role can sit out of any major airport in the Northeast region.

Job Description

STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING

Develop long-term field strategies for key East Grocery partners in the west and specific initiatives considering company direction, focus area, key customers, market parameters and resources.

Aggregate and analyze large amounts of complex data quickly, and distill that data into clear, viable action plans.

Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback and with customers with strategic importance/relevance to winning volume and share.

Drive the annual business planning process with the key Regional Accounts and their respective Field Teams though advanced channel programs, initiatives, and tactics.

Monitor market trends and maintain timely data on competition.

OVERSIGHT OF LARGE FORMAT KEY ACCOUNTS

Lead the execution of long-term sales drivers in Large Format East regional key accounts.

Improve relationships with top chain accounts by adding value through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

Consistently evaluate ROI and investment for each chain and channel and make appropriate adjustments as needed.

Issue clear direction and guidelines with regards to priorities – both qualitative and quantitative.

Improve relationships and increase wiring with leadership at top chain accounts by adding value through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

Actively contribute to a wide variety of HQ Cross Functional Teams within RBNA to ensure sales representation and the Key Account’s ‘voice’.

Communicate, align, and execute associated Cross Functional Team objectives across RBNA.

Wire with critical Distributor Partners and their respective LT to improve execution performance at store level and communication efficiency.

BUDGET OWNERSHIP

Own and manage custom multi-million-dollar POS budget across East and consistently evaluates ROI to inform future spend.

Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with strategically important high-volume regions.

Drive post-promotion analysis process following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and in-store execution.

Accurate forecasting of CAPEX/OPEX spend with consideration of prior year performance.

LEADERSHIP, COACHING, AND DEVELOPMENT

Build, develop, and lead a large geographically disparate team. Ensure career development for the Large Format organization.

Assist account managers to develop effective programs.

Coach, educate and motivate direct reports for increased productivity.

Spend adequate time with team in office and field to implement and execute Red Bull standards.

Lead team to develop thought-leading initiatives and insights that impact national strategy.

Lead the business priorities, objectives, and results across CPM/CRM (long-term business transformation process) as it relates to all Key Account field processes.

Develop trainings and processes to ensure CPM/CRM becomes part of RBNA culture.

NATIONAL FIELD COMMUNICATION

Drive key stakeholder alignment across the organization. Leverages Sales Activator and Sales Activator Manager roles to provide best in class partnerships with Key Regional Grocery Accounts

Develop trainings and team skills to build and maintain business relationships with senior management across wired Key Accounts nationally. 

Create and implement processes to ensure all accounts’ key decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting strategies at the field level.

Work cross functionally with SaMo/BU department leads to create selling tools to support the field as market changes and resources are needed to win ahead of competition.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years-experience in CPG sales; food or beverage experience preferred.
  • Experience in Key, Regional or National account management required; large format experience preferred.
  • Experience working with a DSD network preferred.
  • Excellent negotiator and influencer, leveraging business analytics to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated skills as a change agent, leader, and performance coach to develop talent.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker and passionate for achieving long-term success via hands on, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Analytical background and ability to analyze complex trends and data.
  • Strong Communication skills, highly organized and manages timelines and objectives effectively. Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles. Experience in supporting and facilitating cross-departmental interdependencies, across sales and marketing.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $115,200- $172,800 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
