Profile OverviewThis client is seeking a long-term content writer with a deep understanding of elementary education and experience writing for a B2B audience. The focus is on thought leadership and resource-driven content—blogs, ebooks, case studies, and more—that showcases the organization’s value to school districts across the country.
Scope- Commitment: 15 hours/week
- Duration: 1 year contract, with flexibility to scale up or adjust.
- Onboarding Timeline: Ideal start within the next month
- Write and edit B2B content including: blog articles, ebooks, case studies (including conducting stakeholder interviews), and social media content (optional but valued)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with marketing strategy.
- Ensure tone and voice are consistent with existing brand materials.
- Participate in interviews with superintendents or district leaders as needed for case studies.
- Work autonomously to deliver high-quality content on a weekly basis.
- 3+ years of professional writing experience in B2B content marketing.
- Strong familiarity with education systems, particularly elementary and after-school programs.
- Experience conducting interviews and translating them into compelling narratives.
- Ability to mirror existing brand voice without rigid style guides.
- Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across U.S. time zones.
- Background in education, parenting, or similar domains is a plus.
