About the RoleThis posting is specifically to be used for re-hiring a 2025 intern that is returning as part of our extended internship program.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities will vary based on specific program assignment, but in general, the will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the analysis of system requirements and specifications to ensure they meet project goals
• Supporting the development and maintenance of system documentation, including requirements, system architecture, analysis, and test plans.
• Utilizing modeling and simulation tools to analyze system performance and behavior to meet program requirements and capabilities
• Supporting integration of system components to define and mature system interfaces
• Participating in testing activities to verify and validate system requirements and also assisting in troubleshooting any issues that arise
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, test, and SW engineers, and program management teams, to facilitate communication and collaboration
• Conducting and supporting research on new technologies or methodologies to improve system performance and development processes
• Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to the team
• Engaging in training sessions to understand systems engineering principles and best practicesAbout You

We’re looking for team members who align with our values, mission and goals – while also meeting the minimum qualifications below. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Students must be graduating between 12/2025 - 6/2026 and seeking full-time roles following that graduation.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong organization skills, detail oriented, and self-initiative
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering or a related discipline 
  • Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar for system modeling and simulation
  • Completed coursework relevant to systems engineering, systems integration, and requirements management 
  • Experience working on a prime contract 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Engineering Junior/Senior: $30.00/hour

Engineering BA/MS Dual Program or 5 yr BA/MS Program: $31.00

Engineering Master's: $35.00/hour

Engineering PhD: $42.00/hour
 

Pay is determined by the level of courses completed during the school term prior to starting the program, not by the courses the individual will be taking following the program completion.



Compensation:

Pay Range:

$29.75 - $40.92

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
