About the Team / Role
As an E-commerce Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of our small business customer acquisition campaigns, focusing on developing impactful campaign concepts, compelling offers, and data-driven targeting insights. While the digital channel leads handle the media planning, optimization, and platform-specific strategies, this role will provide the essential direction and content that drives successful digital e-commerce acquisition. This role is focused on the "what" and "why" of campaigns, rather than the "how". To be successful in this role, this person needs to have their finger on the pulse of digital commerce trends, manage a high volume and fast-paced campaign environment, and have high executive-level stakeholder EQ. It is strongly recommended that this person has credit card marketing and/or risk-based acquisition experience.

Campaign Strategy Development:

Define the strategic direction of acquisition campaigns, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and offer development.

Utilize customer data, market research, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy.

Develop compelling campaign concepts and narratives that resonate with target audiences.

Exceptional project management with follow-up/ follow-through capabilities.

Putting together presentation materials and reporting campaign performance to senior-level stakeholders.

Offer and Promotion Planning:

Develop and optimize promotional offers and incentives to drive customer acquisition and conversion.

Analyze offer performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align offers with business goals.

Audience Insight and Segmentation:

Analyze customer behavior and purchase patterns to identify key audience segments.

Provide detailed audience insights to inform campaign targeting and messaging.

Develop and refine customer personas to guide campaign development.

Content and Creative Direction:

Provide strategic direction for campaign creative and messaging, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.

Collaboration with Digital Channel Leads:

Work closely with the digital leads to ensure seamless execution of channel-specific campaign strategies.

Provide clear and concise briefs outlining campaign objectives, target audiences, and offer details.

Collaborate on A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging e-commerce best practices.

Identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Experience You'll Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
-
5+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a focus on campaign strategy and offer development. Preferably in the credit card or financial sector.

Strong understanding of a digital e-commerce “shop” experience. Preferably a credit card or financial shop.

Strong understanding of customer segmentation and audience targeting.

Competency in analyzing data in visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Looker Studio.

Competency in the Google Suite toolset, including Slides and Sheets with the expectation of Executive deck development.

Proven ability to develop compelling campaign concepts and offers.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

Understanding of digital marketing channels and their role in customer acquisition.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
