Team / division overview

Integrated Reporting’s primary responsibilities include the analysis and reporting of financial position and performance of the DWS Group.​ The team is responsible in the publication and compliance to IFRS standards of the Annual and Half Year Reports, external and regulatory reports of the DWS Group. The team ensures timely and accurate reporting of the financials which are critical in making informed decision and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

As Integrated Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in preparing Annual and Half Year Reports, regulatory and other financial reports for DWS Group, review and discuss region and group financials, work with multiple teams in reviewing effective control environment to ensure accurate and timely reporting both internally and externally. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare high quality reports such as but not limited to reports given to the CFO, Management Board, Supervisory Board which includes Interim, Annual and Regulatory reports.
  • Understand and analyze regulatory and IFRS new requirements and ensure reports are in adherence to applicable standards.
  • Discuss reporting requirements and IFRS standards to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide and deliver adhoc requirements.
  • Ensure an efficient and effective reporting and control framework.
  • Interface with other functions inside and outside of Integrated Reporting, including DB Group Finance,  DWS Finance, Tax, Investors Relations, COO and other relevant functions and external audit.
  • Ensure reporting meets requirements, provides analysis on material movements and develop the reporting content and processes to provide business context.
  • Support projects and councils under the Integrated Reporting team scope.
  • Prepares and reviews financial statements and disclosures and provides external auditors with the relevant supporting substantiation.
  • Coordinate and ensure completion of Integrated Reports including non-financial information.
  • Contribute to project, change initiatives or process improvements.
  • Keeps all operational guidelines updated and ensures adherence to standards, KPIs, objectives and other metrics requirements & procedures and also identifies plans to mitigate risks whenever there is a control issue/s.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or Finance-related equivalents with Accounting courses
  • Preferably CPA
  • Experience in audit, financial and management reporting or analysis of financial data gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills through careful and systematic evaluation of information, identifying linkages and trends from individual events and data points; seeing the context and providing solutions that address the issue and the big-picture
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
  • Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
  • Amenable to mid-shift - 2pm to 11pm
