Capital & Liquidity Management (CLM) primary responsibilities comprise the management of capital and liquidity of DWS Group and its legal entities.
CLM ensures that DWS Group and its entities are adequately capitalized from an accounting, regulatory and economic perspectives to enable profitable business growth or investment opportunities supporting the firms’ strategic objectives. It further ensures that sufficient liquidity and funding is maintained at all times and steers the investment of DWS corporate liquidity in line with applicable regulation as well as risk and return considerations. CLM facilitates efficient financial resource management and balance sheet planning.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Capital & Liquidity Management Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial resources of DWS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting financial transparency. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, finance teams, and risk teams to maintain a robust capital management framework.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a CFO/Finance function within an International Asset Management or Banking Group.
- Expertise in Treasury, Financial Resource Management, or Capital Management (preferred).
- Strong analytical and structured thinking with a focus on process efficiency and optimization.
- Well-founded presentation, dashboarding and reporting skills.
- Prior experience with asset valuation (a plus).
- Curiosity and willingness to interpret, develop, and maintain an understanding of DWS’s liquidity and capital requirements.
- Ability to work independently with focus on results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts across different seniority levels.
- Initiative-driven mindset, with a passion for ownership and process improvement.
- Degree from an accredited university in MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology), Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Access, and VBA).
