Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
We are part of a highly technical engineering group that sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and test. Our work directly influences silicon quality, yield, and time to market. We collaborate closely across functions and fabs to solve hard problems and turn data into better products.
This role is critical to ensuring silicon performs as intended from first silicon through production. You will work hands-on with design, probe, and manufacturing teams to define test strategies, debug failures, and drive yield improvement. The position offers deep technical ownership, strong cross-functional visibility, and the opportunity to influence both product and process decisions.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Design Engineering to run simulations, complete pre-silicon checklists, and define tester resource requirements
  • Develop, modify, and debug probe programs to meet product requirements and silicon limitations
  • Analyze probe and test data to debug failures and identify root causes using electrical and physical techniques
  • Improve probe test strategies to enhance quality, yield, and process feedback
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and marketing while providing technical training and mentoring

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Knowledge of CMOS devices, semiconductors, and integrated circuits
  • Experience with silicon testing, fault diagnosis, and post-silicon validation
  • Experience with data analysis for yield optimization and failure prediction

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with hardware debug
  • Knowledge of power delivery and signal integrity for silicon testing
  • Experience supporting probe or front-end test development in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor engineers and improve team processes
