What We Need:

As the DME Supplier Relationship Manager, you will lead strategic efforts to grow and optimize Synapse Health’s DME Provider Network. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of provider recruitment — from market analysis and outreach to onboarding and retention — ensuring our network is robust, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. This role blends sales strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to drive network expansion and performance.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the DME Provider Network across product categories and geographic regions.
  • Identify gaps in provider coverage and implement targeted sourcing strategies to address them.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value DME providers, serving as a trusted partner throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, marketing, compliance, credentialing, contracting, and solutions and implementation, and operations teams to ensure providers meet all regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Deliver tailored value propositions to prospective providers, highlighting the benefits of joining Synapse Health’s network.
  • Oversee the creation of recruitment campaigns, marketing materials, and event strategies to attract new providers.
  • Analyze provider performance and recruitment metrics to inform strategy and optimize network growth.
  • Present regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership on network health and expansion efforts.
  • Represent Synapse Health at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our provider network.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and provider experience.

What You Have:

At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in DME, provider enrollment, or network management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects in a remote environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or provider management systems.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Deep understanding of the DME industry and provider dynamics.
  • Experience scaling provider networks in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to connect day-to-day work to broader organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

What Sets Us Apart:

It’s no secret that most of us work to provide for ourselves and those we love, but just because we must work doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. In fact, at Synapse Health, we insist on it! We want our team members to thrive personally and professionally, which is why our benefits include:

  • Professional growth opportunities with compelling career paths
  • Healthy work-life balance culture with paid time off (PTO)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
