Job Description

Seeking an exceptional Digital Transformation Consultant with deep technical expertise and strategic vision who can guide organizations through impactful digital evolutions, delivering quantifiable business results and creating sustainable competitive advantages through innovative technology implementation and optimized business processes.

Outcomes (12-month success metrics)

  • Successfully complete 2-3 major digital transformation initiatives with measurable ROI for clients
  • Generate $1M in consulting revenue through new and expanded client engagements
  • Achieve 90%+ client satisfaction ratings across all transformation projects
  • Develop 2 reusable frameworks/methodologies that enhance our digital transformation service offerings

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting & Digital Roadmap (40%)

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client business processes to identify high-impact digital opportunities
  • Develop data-driven transformation strategies with clear KPIs aligned to business outcomes
  • Create actionable technology roadmaps that balance innovation with practical implementation
  • Advise leadership on strategic applications of emerging technologies (AI, cloud computing, IoT, automation)

Technology Implementation & Change Management (40%)

  • Lead the evaluation and selection of digital solutions based on rigorous business requirements
  • Oversee technical implementation to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives
  • Drive adoption through structured change management approaches with measurable acceptance metrics
  • Monitor and report on implementation progress, addressing obstacles proactively

Business Development & Thought Leadership (20%)

  • Identify opportunities to expand client engagements through solution-based consulting
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations that articulate clear value propositions
  • Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through content creation and speaking engagements
  • Mentor junior team members on digital transformation methodologies and client management

Qualifications

Technical Excellence

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise technology ecosystems and integration approaches
  • Hands-on experience implementing solutions across at least two of: cloud infrastructure, AI/ML applications, data analytics platforms, automation tools, or digital workplace technologies
  • Understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk management in digital transformation contexts

Analytical Thinking

  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex business problems into actionable components
  • Experience using data analytics to drive decision-making and measure transformation impact
  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions

Client Leadership

  • Proven track record building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for diverse audiences
  • Experience managing client expectations and driving consensus among competing priorities

Project Execution

  • History of delivering complex transformation initiatives on time and within budget
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix environments
  • Demonstrated ability to pivot strategies when faced with unexpected challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, management consulting, or enterprise technology implementation
  • Experience at a respected management or technology consulting firm
  • Industry certifications relevant to digital transformation methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, SAFE, PMP, cloud certifications)
