How will you make an impact:

  • Grow and build a world-class engineering team 
  • Participate in high-level design decisions and execute on them.  
  • Work closely with data engineering and data science teams to create integrated automated processes that support a robust ML Ops workflows.
  • Be a technical interface for our client executive team and partners to implement clients. 

Skills needed to succeed:  

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 6+ years managing mentoring developers and managers. 
  • Strong track record building successful commercial software products and supporting those products over multiple releases.  
  • Proven track record in growing an engineering team, measuring the success of the team, and identifying and developing top talent on the team.  
  • Experience evolving engineering processes as the team grows, leveraging different development methodologies based on the needs of the business and team. 
  • Proven track record of collaboration with other departments, partners and clients to support product adoption and product usage.
  • Demonstrated business savvy and the ability to work with other parts of the business to help make appropriate tradeoffs. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, AWS is plus.
  • Experience working in Insurtech or on AI/ML products is plus.
