Lead and manage 4–6 teams delivering fiduciary and non-discrimination testing services. Oversee productivity, staffing, budgets, training, client retention, regulatory compliance, and process improvements while developing team leaders and supporting succession planning.
AFS is hiring a Director. Administrative Fiduciary Services Inc. (‘AFS’) serves as a co-fiduciary with employers with respect to administrative issues helping employers more effectively fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities and saving employers time.
The focus of the Director of AFS is managing teams of professionals to meet company goals. For this position, an individual must have a minimum of ten years of non-discrimination testing experience and eight years of supervisory experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Champion AFS values and policies
- Manage 4 – 6 teams
- Monitor team productivity and progress toward firm/team goals through report generation
- Set and monitor weekly goals for each team
- Resolve a minimum of 90% of service issues escalated by your team members
- Develop and train assistant team leaders and team leaders
- Manage salary budgets and client retention for your teams
- Keep current with new regulations and legislation as well as an awareness of proposed regulations and legislation
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in technology and law changes and provide leadership in evolving AFS service offerings
- Provide input on staffing and team models
- Participate in succession planning for your teams
- Assist AFS management in moving to a more institutionalized business model
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in non-discrimination testing
- 8+ years of supervisory experience
- Credentials with a nationally recognized organization (ASPPA or NIPA)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Superior organizational and coordination skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Pension Pro a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary $120,000 - $150,000
