The Director of Treasury oversees Asset/Liability Management, treasury operations, liquidity management, and compliance with regulations, while leading a financial team.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Director of Treasury is responsible for overseeing Asset/Liability Management (ALM) for the Bank and supporting treasury operations. This position will play a key role in executing the Bank’s strategy through the maintenance of overall corporate liquidity.

The Director of Treasury is responsible for overseeing Asset/Liability Management (ALM) for the Bank and supporting treasury operations. This position will play a key role in executing the Bank’s strategy through the maintenance of overall corporate liquidity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with the Treasurer to oversee treasury functions with the goal of managing the firm’s liquidity and mitigating risk to the Bank
- Conduct ALM forecasting with the support of treasury analysts and ensure results are accurate and reliable. Produce strategy recommendations based on modeling results and economic outlook. Present the results to senior management.
- Continuously perform assessments on, and seek ways to improve, existing processes as well as treasury related products, services, technologies, and systems
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with investment and wholesale funding brokers. Execute approved strategies with well-documented support.
- Assist in the Bank’s strategic planning by identifying recommendations and action plans to enhance balance sheet strategy and profitability.
- Contribute to the Bank’s budgeting and capital stress testing processes through balance sheet and net interest income forecasting.
- Oversee derivative and hedging activities.
- Ensure all treasury related policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained. This includes policies relating to cash position, treasury operations, derivative activity, liquidity, ALCO, and cashflow management reporting
- Remain current on all treasury management and banking related regulations and laws to ensure the Bank’s documents, processes, and procedures are compliant
- 10+ years in financial services or banking with proven experience leading a team of financial professionals.
- ALM modeling experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of treasury management concepts in the banking industry
- Strong analytical, research, planning, and organizing skills
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional designations (i.e., Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)) preferred
- High-level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and other modeling tools) required
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
