About Nerdio

At Nerdio, our mission is to simplify the lives of IT professionals and maximize their Microsoft cloud and end user computing investments.

We support organizations of all sizes looking to deploy, manage, and cost-optimize native Microsoft technologies. We partner with Enterprises and Managed Service Providers all over the world to add value on top of their existing native Microsoft investments like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.

Created in 2016, Nerdio has always taken a market-leading and collaborative approach to cloud deployment and management. In fact, our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology.

Today, Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15,000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support, which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible.

We are a fast-moving, nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative, empathetic, driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading, then we want to speak with you.

About the role

  • Build a modern and AI-driven technical content and enablement engine. You will establish the Technical Training team as the single authoritative source for all technical education at Nerdio, building a modular content library organized around Nerdio's core capabilities (AVD, Windows 365, Intune/UEM, application management, Auto-scale, image management, automation) that can be assembled into persona- and solution-based learning paths. Build a customer and partner enablement roadmap spanning the full lifecycle — onboarding, certification, self-serve learning, and technical deep-dives — and package it for multiple delivery contexts: self-paced courses, a self-serve library and knowledge base, virtual live training, instructor-led sessions, Masterclasses, and partner enablement programs.
  • Educate and certify our enterprise customers. You will build dedicated learning paths and certification programs for customer IT admins (hands-on practitioners) and customer IT leaders (strategic decision-makers), delivered through Nerdio University, VILT, CS+ instructor-led training, and enterprise training camps — and partner with Product and Engineering to translate new features and architecture changes into practical, digestible guidance (how-to guides, reference architectures, runbooks) for both customers and internal teams.
  • Co-own the partner and MSP technical education strategy.  You will build a collaborative operating model with the Partner Enablement lead — a peer relationship built on trust, shared goals, and clear boundaries, not a turf war — and extend that model to MSP partners directly through train-the-trainer programs so they can confidently support their own customers on Nerdio.
  • Connect training and enablement to revenue. You will build the measurement infrastructure that answers these types of questions: Do certified partners close deals faster? Do customers who complete training renew at higher rates? Does pre-sale technical education improve win rates? Does training reduce support ticket volume? This requires defining KPIs across certification completion, time-to-proficiency, support deflection, CSAT, and feature adoption; integrating Docebo data with our CRM and product analytics; building cohort comparison frameworks; and reporting revenue-linked results to executive leadership quarterly.
  • Coordinate all technical education and enablement across the company. You will chair a cross-functional Education Council bringing together Technical Training, Partner Enablement, Sales Engineering, Partner Development, Customer Success, Support, and Product Marketing to maintain a unified education calendar, align on content priorities, and eliminate redundant or competing events in the market — identifying enablement gaps and prioritizing the content and training that reduce friction and support volume.
  • Lead the team. You are expected to be a hands-on leader who can build strategy and coach execution simultaneously, setting goals and measuring impact.
  • Embed content creation into the product development cycle. When Nerdio ships a product update, the training module should ship with it. You will establish processes with Product and Engineering to ensure your team has early access to roadmap information and a defined role in the release process — and you will feed recurring themes, confusion points, and technical gaps from learners back to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and documentation.

What You Bring

Required

  • 8+ years in technical training, customer education, or enablement within a B2B SaaS or technology company, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team of 5+
  • Demonstrated experience building a scalable customer or partner education program from early-stage to measurable maturity — not just inheriting and maintaining one
  • Experience with localization requirements
  • Track record of tying education and enablement programs to business outcomes (retention, revenue, adoption, support deflection) with real data, not just anecdotal claims
  • Experience operating in a dual-motion business (direct + channel) and building programs that serve both without over-indexing on either
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills — you've aligned Product, Sales, Partner, Support, and CS/Marketing teams as a peer, often without direct authority over those teams
  • Microsoft Cloud background
  • Hands-on experience with a modern LMS (Docebo preferred) and familiarity with content production workflows, certification design, and learning path architecture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for multiple audiences and formats

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Nerdio or similar platforms; certifications in Microsoft Azure or Modern Workplace technologies
  • Experience with persona-based or solution-based curriculum design (vs. purely feature-based or course-catalog approaches)
  • Experience building measurement pipelines that connect LMS data to CRM and product
  • Usage data
  • Experience building or scaling an LMS, self-serve knowledge base, or customer learning academy from the ground up

Benefits and Incentives

  • Competitive Base and Incentive Plan
  • Stock Options
  • Health and Welfare Plans*
  • Life and Disability Plans*
  • Retirement Plan*
  • Unlimited Flexible Paid Time Off, including your birthday off!
  • Collaborative Team Culture

* Benefits for international employees, outside the US, vary by country.
