About this team:
The Director, Technical Operations will focus on Magnite’s DV+ platform and play a lead role in ensuring clients using our technology are achieving their optimal results. This involves developing a comprehensive understanding of how best to interface with our platform and partner technologies in order to achieve optimal outcomes on behalf of our clients. Technical troubleshooting is a key responsibility and delving into the setups and data requires relevant prior experience. Magnite DV+ empowers publishers to efficiently monetize omnichannel inventory including display, video, native, audio, and DOOH with best-in-class, AI‑enhanced programmatic tools. The role serves as an internal point of escalation, sitting at the intersection of Account Management and Product/Engineering.
In this role you will:
Provide technical support for clients using DV+ technology
Own the integration and success of clients on DV+
Troubleshoot complex technical issues in clients’ setups
Proactively track key metrics indicating client and business success
Thoroughly understand each client type (publisher, DSP, buyer, curator, etc.) and their unique business objectives
Architect solutions with clients to achieve their optimal setup on DV+
Analyze large datasets to identify issues and uncover opportunities
Lead responsive communication to client questions
We’re looking for someone with:
8+ years of work experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advanced degree is a plus)
Experience with Python & JavaScript
Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
Expertise with SQL and custom rollups of large datasets
Expertise with Excel; fluent in advanced functionality
Strong communication skills to discover clients’ root issues and navigate solutions with them
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think strategically and work closely with large clients to align to their goals
Experience managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously

In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $165,000 - $170,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In Massachusetts, the base salary range for this position is: $165,000 - $170,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In Colorado, the base salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $155,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
