  • Own the strategy and execution of Outreach’s technical delivery standards to ensure high-quality, scalable, and repeatable implementations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to influence roadmap and support AI capability rollout.
  • Support high-impact pre-sales engagements through technical scoping, solution design, and proof-of-value efforts.
  • Define and track delivery KPIs (e.g., time-to-value, platform adoption, performance metrics) to drive operational excellence.
  • Contribute to Outreach’s AI thought leadership and represent customer needs in product development discussions.

Our Vision of You:

  • 10+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or implementation leadership, ideally in enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven success leading customer-facing teams including technical architects  or similar roles at the intersection of product, services, and innovation.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML models, APIs, data pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with AI use cases such as NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
  • Involvement in data preparation, model fine-tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Strong technical acumen across SaaS platforms, enterprise integrations, cloud architecture, and GTM/SalesTech ecosystems.
  • Experience translating complex business goals into technical solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong operational mindset with experience driving KPIs, process improvements, and scalable delivery models.
  • Passion for innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and building high-impact customer experiences.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
