We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Director, Talent within our Influencer Talent Agency division to supervise and collaborate with a team of agents. This person will serve as a critical mentor for a group of Talent Agents whose primary responsibilities are to manage the careers of various social media influencers within our agency. Must be a resourceful, creative, and dedicated individual who can balance a multitude of tasks in an extremely fast paced work environment. The incumbent should have an in-depth understanding of social media marketing, brand partnerships, talent management, talent representation, contract negotiations and have an existing deep network of social media influencers.
What You'll Do Here:
- Identify, scout, sign and represent social media and digital influencers for our agency roster.
- Support the negotiation and procurement of contracts on behalf of Viral Nation Talent Creators
- Help seek revenue and sponsorship opportunities for Viral Nation Talent Creators
- Optimize and oversee the talent onboarding process from lead to partnered creator
- Oversee the discovery process of new talent and know the key players in the influencer space.
- Meet and exceed monthly KPIs
- Strong focus and research skills to identify market trends in real time
- Solid understanding of the online video landscape, monetization trends, and optimization techniques
- Grow and build out a team of Talent Agents, that manage the relationships between influencers brands, and garner new business for Viral Nation
- Develop and implement processes and efficiencies to allow Viral Nation Talent to grow sustainably
- Resource for agents and leaders through situations that arise with talent and buyers
You'll Need To Have:
- 7+ years experience in talent management/talent representation of Social Media Influencers and/or celebrities
- Experience representing creators across various niches
- Experience managing and mentoring Talent Agents and Coordinators
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Must have an existing deep network of social media influencers and talent
- Must have experience professionally managing brand partnerships
