What you will accomplish with us

As Director, Strategic Procurement – IT Sector, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement strategy for the IT sector and develop consolidation and portfolio optimization strategies to maximize value for iA;

  • Provide leadership to business partners to ensure the understanding and application of governance frameworks, as well as rigorous supplier management, particularly for strategic agreements;

  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and development in collaboration with stakeholders to meet business objectives;

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners while staying current on IT sector challenges, issues, and priorities;

  • Participate in strategic governance committees for key suppliers and support the management of major agreements in collaboration with relevant teams;

  • Manage issues, disputes, and complex negotiations with suppliers;

  • Contribute to the evolution of procurement and supplier management practices by identifying continuous improvement opportunities;

  • Mobilize, coach, and develop team capabilities in line with industry best practices.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in administration, law, or any other relevant field;

  • Has 10 years of experience in procurement within the information technology sector or in a similar role;

  • Is recognized for strong expertise in contract negotiation and strategic agreement management;

  • Stands out for the ability to solve complex problems and deliver results aligned with business objectives;

  • Demonstrates mobilizing leadership, strong client orientation, and a high level of rigor in planning and execution;

  • Has an advanced level of proficiency in English, as the role requires negotiating contracts, participating in governance committees, and collaborating with English‑speaking suppliers and external partners on a regular basis.

  • Fluent in French both oral and written
