Position Description

Eleanor Health is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director, Strategic Partnerships to lead the execution of B2B partnership strategy and manage a pipeline of opportunities. This role will be responsible for managing and growing a pipeline of new and existing strategic B2B partnerships, and supporting the organization’s revenue and membership growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare partnerships, particularly within behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD), and a proven track record of driving healthcare strategic initiatives forward with payors, digital platform providers, hospital systems, government entities, large-scale provider practices, care coordination solutions, and the like. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a strategic roadmap to establish, nurture, and grow partnerships with mission-aligned organizations such as payors, digital platform providers, clinically integrated networks, hospital systems, government systems, large-scale provider practices, care coordination solutions, and more.
  • Maintaining and actively managing a robust pipeline of potential partnership opportunities, tracking progress, and providing regular reports to leadership and key stakeholders on pipeline status, conversion rates, and projected growth.
  • Identifying, engaging, and negotiating agreements with potential partners to expand access to care and drive membership growth.
  • Using analytics and performance metrics to nurture and track partnership success, inform strategy adjustments, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of partnership agreements, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with the implementation team to ensure seamless onboarding of new partners and successful launch of partnership initiatives, including developing and executing joint implementation plans.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports and updates on partnership performance and progress to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, including data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  • Supporting the VP in creating executive-level presentations and readouts on partnership strategy and impact, including summarizing key metrics, achievements, and challenges.
  • Representing Eleanor Health at industry events, conferences, and forums to elevate the organization’s presence in the behavioral health and mental health space.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or sales in healthcare, preferably within behavioral health or SUD treatment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payors, hospital systems, and digital health ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow strategic partnerships and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Passion for behavioral health and Eleanor’s mission.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target annual compensation range for this position is $125,000-130,000 with a bonus of 25-30%. This depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
