Job Description:

The Role

Fidelity Institutional (FI) is looking for a Director to join the Strategy and Operations team within Wealth Advisory & Portfolio Solutions (WA&PS) to help manage and deliver on critical strategic initiatives. Principal in this space will be Fidelity’s relationship with Envestnet as a strategic partner supporting Fidelity Institutional from a platform and product perspective. This role will help develop and execute on the overall program, including strategy & vision, key milestones, and program management. Moreover, this individual will be responsible for communicating and aligning strategy with senior external partners as well as critical internal stakeholders. In addition to the Envestnet relationship, this role will be aligned to lead important strategic initiatives for WA&PS. The breadth of this role requires a diverse skill set including business strategy and analysis, program management, and effective senior communication and collaboration.

  • Self-starter, independently oriented and excited by prospect of working on strategic initiatives and welcome working in fast pace, client focused environment which requires resourcefulness

  • Excellent communication, presence, and leadership to successfully manage senior external relationships

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business insight

  • MBA or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Ability to work reciprocally in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively

  • Capable of communicating with and influencing Fidelity leadership through relationship-building and high-quality presentations

  • Intellectual curiosity and tenacity to develop creative approaches to problem solving

  • Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position

The Team

The mission of the Wealth Advisory & Portfolio Solutions organization is to be the go-to provider of investment advisory capabilities for intermediaries, providing differentiated outcomes at scale through access to Fidelity’s robust investment insights, products, and solutions. The Strategy and Operations team leads strategy for WA&PS as well as critical functions for Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser (FIWA), including Business Management & Oversight, Investment Product, and Investment Services.
