A quick snapshot…

The Director of Business Account Management is focused on the development and execution of a Go To Market and Pipeline Development strategy primarily within Current Customer Accounts and within some new logo accounts. The Business Account Management organization is focused on three core areas of the sales process -- prospecting, account management, and closing business. Day to day, the Sr. Director of Business Account Management will develop and execute the Strategy, organize the structure, develop the processes, establish rewards and install hiring and enablement processes within the Business Account Management Organization. Within this role the Sr. Director of Business Account Management will lead a number or Business Account Management teams at a Sr. Leadership level.

Why this role is a big deal…

This role is critical to the overall Conga Go To Market Strategy. This team is a core component of both pipeline creation and closing of high volume sales within our most strategic accounts. Business Account Managers focus 60% of their time establishing and cultivating relationships with current Conga customers and creating relationships with new logo customers. The other 40% of the Business Account Managers time is spent helping their team close deals in these accounts.

Are you the person we are looking for?

Expertise in Direct Pipeline Development. The ideal candidate has an expert level understanding of Sales Development and Account Based Prospecting. Expertise in the strategic development and operational execution for these GTM strategies is a must. Experience leading successful prospecting initiatives and prospecting teams is core to this role.

Sales Leadership Expertise. Experience in leading business to business sales teams and complex sales processes, including Inside Sales, and Sales Development functions is required. Expertise in resource planning, multi-channel pipeline development, pipeline management, sales process, sales operations, forecasting, and closing are required.

Innovative and creative thinking. Differentiation is done at many levels in an organization. We need a leader that has the ability to truly innovate and devise cutting edge strategies and approaches that get noticed and differentiate Conga. In addition this leader must be able to communicate that vision and inspire others to engage in it.  

Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Collaboration and teamwork is core to the Conga Culture. This leader must be able to influence others, communicate vision, adapt vision to fit the needs of other teams and inspire people to engage in and execute change. Excellent presence and presentation skills will help to forward these initiatives and inspire others. Regular internal and external presentations are common.

Operational, Reporting, Data Analysis Expertise. Experience in the development of operational processes and reporting is core to this role. This background enables the ability for this leader to deploy new initiatives rapidly and assess the impact of change quickly. In addition, extensive reporting on progress and analysis of results for Sr.Leadership is common.

Compensation (for Colorado jobs) 

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination, and which enable us to ‘Achieve Together.’ We communicate transparently about the structure of our compensation programs. ​In keeping with this approach, we’re committed to delivering a competitive compensation and benefits package to all colleagues worldwide. Target compensation is determined by market location for each role.   

The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general compensation base pay and commissions for this role is around $230,000 OTE per year; however, the actual base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.  


In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination.  In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:
$218,846$260,000 USD
