- Lead large software development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Implement best practices in project management and software development methodologies.
- Utilize extensive technical expertise in Python to develop scalable and robust software solutions.
- Ensure optimal design and implementation of data architectures.
- Leverage experience with JPMorgan's in-house risk management system, Athena, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle, risk management, and financial products, especially in commodities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions.
- Promote innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Champion Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on large scale technology program concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Advanced programming skills in Python and proficiency in Python web services frameworks.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript for building scalable web applications.
- Proven success in leading large or cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in influencing complex organizations and delivering value at scale.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, risk management, and financial products in investment banking.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive practical cloud-native experience.
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience working at code level.
- Familiarity with JPMorgan's Athena RMS is preferred.
