What You’ll Do

- Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic, hands-on business development
- Leverage your network across Boston/Cambridge biotech and pharma to generate new opportunities
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value partnerships and client engagements
- Develop tailored, science-driven proposals that clearly differentiate our capabilities
- Build and manage a robust, accurate sales pipeline with clear forecasting and KPIs
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Finance to align strategy, resources, and delivery
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs
- Implement scalable processes that create predictable, repeatable revenue growth
What We’re Looking For
This role is not for someone learning the market—you already own your space.
- 10+ years of business development experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
- Strong, active network within Boston and Cambridge life sciences companies
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Deep understanding of preclinical and/or clinical drug development
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling business opportunities
- Experience working with rodent and/or non-human primate (NHP) models—or the ability to confidently and credibly discuss these models with scientific clients
- Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
