About The Role:

As the Director of Sales Operations at Feastables, you will help build the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that power our next stage of growth. This role serves as a critical connector across Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring teams are aligned around customer plans, forecasting, inventory readiness, and commercial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial planning processes across Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Drive alignment on customer forecasts, promotional plans, inventory readiness, revenue targets, and business priorities
  • Own sales operating rhythms, KPI reporting, business reviews, and performance management processes
  • Build and improve scalable tools, systems, and workflows that enhance forecasting accuracy, customer planning, and decision-making
  • Partner closely with Finance to support annual operating plans, budgeting, scenario modeling, and investment tracking
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure customer demand plans align with production and inventory capabilities
  • Lead and develop the Sales Operations team, helping build a high-performing organization that supports scalable growth
  • Develop retailer and broker-facing tools, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that improve selling effectiveness and execution quality
  • Standardize processes across customer planning, promotional execution, new item launches, and customer onboarding
  • Establish performance scorecards and accountability measures for internal sales teams and external broker partners
  • Monitor performance across revenue, distribution, velocity, promotional, and execution metrics, identifying opportunities to improve results
  • Lead broker and sales performance reviews, helping drive accountability and accelerate growth
  • Support go-to-market planning and commercialization strategies for new products and customer expansion opportunities
  • Own strategic initiatives focused on operational scalability, process optimization, and commercial transformation
  • Evaluate and implement systems, technologies, and partnerships that strengthen planning, reporting, and sales execution capabilities
  • Develop executive-level reporting, recommendations, business cases, and performance updates for senior leadership
  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and external broker organizations, helping drive alignment and execution across priorities

Recipe for Success:

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, Customer Planning, Business Operations, or a related field within CPG
  • Strong understanding of retailer, distributor, and broker ecosystems within consumer packaged goods
  • Experience leading commercial planning, forecasting, performance management, and operational processes that support business growth
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
  • Experience building scalable systems, reporting capabilities, dashboards, and operational workflows
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, scenario planning, investment tracking, and business case development
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, syndicated data platforms, and reporting tools
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and build strong relationships across teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities evolve

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
