About Us

Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

The Director of Sales Enablement will lead our Sales Enablement function and play a pivotal role in equipping our Provider Partnerships team with the tools, resources, and training they need to succeed. Reporting to the Head of Provider Sales, you’ll own the strategy and execution of sales onboarding, ongoing training, leadership development, and rep performance coaching. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive faster rep ramp time, increased referral volume, and improved sales efficiency, while ensuring PPM (Provider Partnerships Manager) engagement and retention stay high.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with both sales and sales enablement experience who’s excited about building a function from scratch, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about empowering sales teams to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PPM Onboarding: Design, coordinate, and iterate on a structured onboarding program to ensure new PPMs ramp quickly and effectively.
  • Ongoing Learning & Development: Identify team skill gaps and deliver targeted trainings, including clinical deep dives and professional growth opportunities.
  • Content & Resource Development: Create and maintain collateral, email templates, and a well-organized Notion workspace to support PPMs.
  • Sales Playbook Iteration: Update and refine the sales playbook using team feedback, best practices, and data from Gong.
  • Leadership Development: Build programs to prepare high-performing PPMs for leadership roles and develop their management skills.
  • PPM Feedback Loops: Conduct pulse checks, consolidate team insights, and work with leadership to address challenges and improve processes.

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have 10+ years of total sales experience - with 3+ years in sales enablement and 1+ year of management experience
  • You have a proven track record of designing and delivering effective onboarding, training, and coaching programs.
  • You have a strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and challenges faced by sales teams. Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools is a must.
  • You have a knack for simplifying complexity. Whether it’s creating a concise playbook or designing training programs, you excel at breaking down complex ideas into practical, digestible solutions.
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
  • You’re a team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and can influence without direct authority.
  • You’re driven to empower others to succeed. Seeing others excel because of the programs, tools, and strategies you’ve implemented lights you up.
  • You thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution. You love identifying high-impact opportunities, building frameworks, and rolling up your sleeves to bring them to life.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
