The Director of Sales will lead the sales strategy and team for a Supply Chain SaaS targeting the CPG and Manufacturing industries, focusing on business growth and relationship management.
Director of Sales, Supply Chain SaaS - CPG / Mfg. Industry exp - North America
Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 10+ years proven enterprise software supply chain sales experience (and) 5+ years managing enterprise level software sales teams.
- Experience working extensively in North America with distributed teams.
- Possess strong leadership skills and experience in Sales/Sales management, primarily leading a team selling into to CPG and Manufacturing Industry Accounts in North America.
- Demonstrable success in Sales Strategy, Business growth through New Business and Account Hunting, Account Management and Farming.
- Open-minded, hands-on, team-oriented, and down to earth communicator.
- Solid experience interacting effectively with inside sales, presales, alliances, product, and sales operations in a manner that creates the best outcomes for customers and the company.
- Track record of building and maintaining positive long-term, win-win relationships with clients, cross functional stakeholders, and team members.
- Must possess a value-selling DNA and a strong background utilizing value-selling tools.
- Excellent communications skills demonstrated in customer interactions, proposals and sales communications, internal updates and sales operations reporting in Salesforce.com.
- Proven Sales Leadership: Build, mentor, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on enterprise SaaS for the supply chain sector serving customers in the CPG and manufacturing industries.
