We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes!
Closing the deal is only half the work, the other half is everything that has to run cleanly behind it: the quote, the contract, the handoff to implementation, the invoice. As our first Director of Revenue Operations, you’ll run the team and build the engine behind our go-to-market motion, setting priorities, designing systems, and staying hands-on as it matures. You’ll own everything from lead routing and Salesforce architecture to quote-to-cash workflows, forecasting, and the revenue reporting our executive team relies on, all shaped around a complex, multi-stakeholder software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) sales process. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Finance to make sure every deal moves cleanly from first conversation to billing. If you know Salesforce and quote-to-cash cold and would rather build the process than inherit it, help us scale the business behind technology that’s changing how cardiovascular disease is detected and treated.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 8+ years experience in sales operations, revenue operations or a related field like sales strategy or business operations, ideally with B2B SaaS or SaMD products, and 3+ years experience managing a team.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Advanced, hands-on Salesforce administration skills (Salesforce Administrator certification preferred).
  • Proven ownership of quote-to-cash processes, including CPQ, contract management, and billing tool integration.
  • A strong grasp of forecasting, pipeline management, and SaaS metrics such as bookings, ARR, and retention.
  • A builder’s mindset, comfortable with a high degree of ownership operating within a dynamic startup environment.
  • Experience leading people and managing vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Work Location:
  • This is a role based out of our office in Boston, MA. Our team is hybrid and has a preference for local candidates or those located in Eastern time zones in the continental U.S.
Salary Range:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $165,000-$185,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
