Role Summary

The Director of Revenue & Technical Accounting is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition, complex contract accounting, and technical accounting compliance across Access Corp’s information management services portfolio. This role will serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 606, contract structuring, and accounting implications for hybrid service offerings that span information governance, digital transformation, secure destruction, and content lifecycle solutions.

This individual will partner closely with Sales, Collections, Legal, FP&A, and Operations to support growth initiatives, ensure financial integrity, and scale accounting policies as the business evolves.

Qualifications & Experience


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting and revenue recognition
  • Deep expertise in ASC 606, and contract accounting
  • Experience supporting complex, service-based revenue models
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical accounting into business-friendly guidance and operational functionality

Preferred

  • Experience in:
  • Records Information Management (RIM)
  • Information governance, digital transformation services, or regulated services industries
  • Public accounting background (Big 4 or national firm)
  • Deep expertise in ASC 805 and experience supporting M&A-related accounting matters
  • ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)

$155,000-$175,000
