The Yext Partner & Strategic Partner Division empowers organizations—ranging from advertising agencies, media companies, and SEO consultancies to hosting providers and automated marketing platforms—to resell Yext’s cloud-based digital presence solutions to their SMB and mid-market clients.

We’re seeking a highly motivated Director of Sales, Reseller & Agency Partnerships to drive new business development and strategic growth within our partner ecosystem. This individual contributor role will focus on identifying, closing, and onboarding new reseller partners, particularly digital agencies, media firms, and technology-enabled marketing platforms.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams (Partnerships, Marketing, Product, Legal) to structure deals, deliver strategic value, and grow revenue through scalable, recurring partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to lead key relationships that influence how leading agencies and resellers bring Yext to market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle with prospective resellers and agencies—from first outreach to contract execution
  • Drive new partner acquisition with a focus on digital agencies, SEM/SEO firms, media companies, and channel resellers
  • Deliver tailored demos and communicate Yext’s value proposition in a partner context
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to structure partner-friendly agreements that align incentives and drive long-term mutual value
  • Build deep relationships with key agency decision-makers and client service leads
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing reseller accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, reporting, and partner data in Salesforce
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to partners on digital presence strategy
  • Act as a connector within the agency ecosystem—unlocking warm intros and extending Yext’s network reach

What You Have

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a focus on partner/reseller or agency development
  • Proven track record of closing strategic partnerships and exceeding quota
  • Deep understanding of the advertising agency ecosystem and how they go to market with technology partners
  • Experience selling marketing, SEO, local listings, or digital presence solutions a strong plus
  • Ability to manage complex partner relationships and navigate agency buying behavior
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and negotiation skills
  • Consultative, value-based selling approach with the ability to articulate business outcomes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, partner CRM, and agency operations
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
Bonus Points
  • Prior experience selling SaaS, digital media, or MarTech into the agency or channel ecosystem
  • Existing network of agency leaders or channel decision-makers

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range
$106,650$207,500 USD
