We are seeking a Director of Program Management to lead a portfolio of complex engineering and technology initiatives. This role is responsible for driving execution excellence across programs, scaling Agile delivery practices, and establishing strong PMO governance.
You will partner closely with engineering, product, and executive leadership to translate strategy into execution, ensure on-time delivery, and provide clear visibility into program health, risks, and outcomes. This position is highly practical, involving direct management of both projects and team members.
What You’ll Do
Lead Program Delivery & Portfolio Execution
Own a portfolio of cross-functional engineering programs aligned to business and product strategy.
Drive on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Define and track key delivery metrics (schedule, budget, risks, outcomes).
Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and manage trade-offs.
Build & Scale PMO and Agile Practices
Establish and evolve PMO standards, governance, and reporting.
Drive adoption of Agile/Scrum practices across teams.
Ensure consistency in planning, estimation, and execution.
Remove delivery impediments and improve overall team efficiency.
Enable Engineering Execution
Oversee program delivery across software, infrastructure, and platform teams.
Manage dependencies, risks, and release readiness across programs.
Align program plans with engineering architecture and product roadmaps.
Own Jira & Delivery Tooling
Lead enterprise use of Jira and related tools (e.g., Confluence).
Ensure consistent workflows, reporting, and dashboards.
Provide visibility into program and portfolio health for stakeholders.
Drive Stakeholder Alignment
Serve as a key partner to engineering, product, and executive teams.
Deliver clear, concise updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Influence decisions and resolve cross-functional challenges.
Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams
Build and mentor a team of program managers, project managers, and Scrum Masters.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support global teams across multiple regions.

Qualifications
Required
10+ years of program/project/audit management experience in technology or engineering organizations.
5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and/or PMO functions.
Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team engineering programs.
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum (SAFe or similar frameworks preferred).
Hands-on experience with Jira (including configuration and reporting).
Experience building or leading PMO governance, processes, and metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the Executive level.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) or relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe).
Experience in Software, Engineering, SaaS, cloud, or product-driven environments.
Experience in regulated or compliance-driven industries.
Developing a streamlined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the agentic environment.
