Position Overview
The Product Marketing Director at Culligan Quench will lead the discovery of new market opportunities, define product strategies, and drive go-to-market execution to ensure our Indirect division sustains leadership in dealer channels. This role serves as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring our Indirect product portfolio is not only competitive but also differentiated by a clear value proposition, compelling positioning, and measurable business outcomes. The Director will champion the voice of the dealer, translating market insights into strategy and ensuring alignment across stakeholders to enable adoption and growth.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Project Management
- Refine product positioning and value propositions grounded in customer and dealer insights.
- Lead development of business cases that quantify new product opportunity (TAM, ROI, adoption forecasts) & inform portfolio decisions
- Shape the product roadmap through market and dealer feedback, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer inputs.
- Define clear, strategic go-to-market frameworks for new and existing products that drive both differentiation and adoption.
- Partner with Category Management to track performance post-launch and iterate based on results.
Channel Enablement and Sales Support
- Partner with Marketing to create marketing assets, sales tools, and training materials to enable internal and dealer sales teams.
- Ensure dealers are strategically enabled with compelling messaging, sales narratives, and training—not just tools.
- Develop channel-specific programs that improve partner engagement, dealer confidence, and sell-through.
- Build two-way feedback loops with dealers, ensuring their voice informs product refinement and GTM priorities.
- Champion dealer and customer success stories as proof points for growth.
Market Insights and Analytics
- Own the market intelligence function for Indirect: competitive tracking, pricing analysis, and emerging trends.
- Leverage IoT and usage data to identify upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities for indirect products.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for roadmap prioritization, pricing, and GTM pivots.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as Indirect’s voice of the customer in product development, product quality, IoT, and support.
- Act as the integrator across teams, ensuring Indirect priorities are fully represented in corporate initiatives.
- Establish a framework for launch readiness with Sales, Operations, and Marketing, aligning priorities and deliverables.
- Partner with Product Support to translate field and dealer issues into actionable improvements.
- Liaison with Product Technical Support teams to ensure dealers’ product concerns are prioritized and resolved.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product marketing, category management, or related consulting experience, ideally in B2B2B environments.
- Proven ability to define strategy and execute GTM plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Deep experience in channel enablement and dealer success, not just asset creation.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen (ROI modeling, TAM analysis, pricing strategy).
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills—able to influence without authority and ensure alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Storytelling ability to translate complex product/market dynamics into simple, compelling narratives for dealers and leadership.
