POSITION TITLE: Director, Product Marketing & Enrollment — Career Accelerator

Location: Remote

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Career Accelerator and Alumni Relations

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Per Scholas seeks a Director of Product Marketing & Enrollment to lead the national growth strategy for our Career Accelerator — a rapidly expanding program empowering alumni and working professionals to upskill, reskill, and advance in tech.

This new leadership role combines strategic marketing, enrollment growth, and team leadership to connect thousands of learners with transformative career opportunities. You are an experienced leader who knows how to market education and workforce programs to adult learners, driving awareness that converts into measurable enrollment outcomes.

With a proven record of scaling marketing and enrollment pipelines, you bring empathy for working adults and a data-driven approach to optimize messaging, reach, and conversion. You’ll lead a cross-functional and specialized strategy across marketing, recruitment, admissions, and enrollment to deliver results — enabling Career Accelerator to enroll 3,500 learners by 2026 and 10,000 annually by 2030, advancing Per Scholas’s mission to create equitable pathways to thriving careers in technology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategy & Leadership

  • Design and lead a comprehensive go-to-market and enrollment growth strategy for the Career Accelerator, encompassing brand positioning, marketing, recruitment, admissions, and conversion optimization.
  • Oversee and grow the Career Accelerator Recruitment and Admissions team, managing three core functions:
    1. Recruitment – Generate awareness and leads across alumni and working professionals nationwide.
    2. Admissions – Build and oversee equitable, efficient, and data-driven admissions processes that identify motivated learners aligned to Career Accelerator offerings.
    3. Enrollment – Drive conversion from inquiry to enrollment through optimized funnel management, communication, and learner engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the SVP – Career Accelerator, Product, and Data teams to align marketing and enrollment strategies with program capacity, learner demand, and market insights.
  • Set and achieve key enrollment milestones to meet 2026 and 2030 learner goals while maintaining quality, diversity, and equity in learner representation.

Product Marketing & Brand Growth

  • Lead the end-to-end marketing lifecycle — awareness, interest, consideration, and decision — for Career Accelerator courses (both instructor-led and asynchronous).
  • Develop and refine messaging, positioning, and campaigns that articulate the value of upskilling and reskilling for working adults and alumni.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deploy multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, paid media, partnerships, social, and events).
  • Define and manage brand standards, ensuring that all messaging aligns with Per Scholas’s mission, values, and learner voice.
  • Leverage data to optimize campaign performance, audience targeting, and conversion rates across the funnel.

Enrollment Operations & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of recruiters, admissions specialists, and marketing professionals focused on achieving ambitious enrollment targets.
  • Implement best practices in CRM management, marketing automation, and data analytics to track KPIs, forecast trends, and report on progress.
  • Build scalable systems and workflows that create an exceptional learner experience from first contact to enrollment.
  • Ensure all recruitment and admissions processes uphold equity, accessibility, and learner-first principles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mission Alignment

  • Partner with the Career Accelerator Product team to ensure marketing accurately reflects course design, learning outcomes, and employer relevance.
  • Collaborate with the Development and Communications teams to share impact stories and amplify Career Accelerator’s visibility among funders, partners, and learners.
  • Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for Career Accelerator’s growth — both internally and externally — demonstrating how strategic marketing and enrollment drive social impact and workforce equity.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US

Leadership & Strategy

  • 7–10+ years of professional experience in marketing, enrollment management, or growth leadership within education, workforce development, or technology sectors.
  • Proven success scaling marketing and enrollment pipelines for adult learning or training programs, ideally exceeding multi-thousand learner goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute national go-to-market strategies with measurable impact on awareness, leads, and enrollment.
  • Experience managing diverse, multi-functional teams and fostering high performance, accountability, and professional growth.

Marketing & Enrollment Expertise

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), funnel analytics, and conversion optimization.
  • Skilled in branding, storytelling, and product marketing tailored to adult learners, alumni, and working professionals.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels — paid, organic, partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency with metrics, dashboards, and insights that inform strategy and decision-making.

Professional & Personal Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Mission-driven leader committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and the workforce.
  • Empathetic communicator and collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Growth-minded, adaptable, and energized by the opportunity to build and scale something new from the ground up.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
