The Director, Product Management is a senior leader within Axonify’s Product organization, responsible for shaping product strategy, driving execution excellence, and scaling a high-impact team. This role provides strategic oversight across multiple product areas, ensuring alignment between customer needs, business priorities, and long-term platform vision.
As a key member of the Product leadership team, the Director partners closely with Development, Design, Sales, and Marketing to translate company strategy into cohesive product direction. You will influence executive decision-making, and ensure Axonify delivers differentiated, high-quality solutions that drive customer value and business growth.
This role reports to the Chief Product Officer.
- Define and evolve product strategy across multiple product domains in alignment with company objectives.
- Guide long-term roadmap planning, balancing near-term delivery with long-term innovation.
- Ensure product investments are aligned to customer value, market opportunity, and business impact.
- Provide strategic input into company planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Leads our product strategy for data products, productized integrations and the API ecosystem for the Axonify Platform
Market, Customer & Competitive Insight
- Establish a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
- Translate market trends and industry shifts into actionable product direction.
- Champion customer-centric decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop product managers and cross-functional product teams.
- Build scalable operating models, decision frameworks, and product management best practices.
- Create clarity, accountability, and alignment across teams.
- Foster a culture where the team stays deeply connected to customer needs, continuously refines their approach, acts with ownership, and works together toward shared goals
- Oversee execution across multiple product initiatives to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Partner with Development and Design leadership to ensure strong discovery, delivery, and technical excellence.
- Remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and ensure teams remain focused on outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Ensure the product strategy and roadmap are clearly communicated and well understood across the organization.
- Support go-to-market alignment and customer-facing readiness.
- Represent Product Management in executive and cross-functional forums.
- Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior stakeholders.
- Provide thoughtful, data-informed recommendations to support leadership decisions.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management or related roles.
- Demonstrated success leading complex product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing product talent.
- Strong critical thinking skills that allow for intense attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a mastery of verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple priorities.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology-driven products.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically apply AI throughout the product lifecycle — from research synthesis and ideation to prototyping, development collaboration, and customer feedback analysis (e.g., Gemini / NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Figma Make, V0, etc.).
- Strong understanding of modern AI-enabled workflows, and curiosity about how intelligent tools can enhance creativity, speed, and decision quality.
- Strong preference for demonstrated experience defining and executing product strategy for data products, integrations, and APIs.

Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary and an incentive plan aligned to your role, which may include annual or variable incentives. We take a thoughtful, market-based approach to compensation.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $182,000 CAD - $207,000 CAD - $232,000 CAD for those in our Canadian locations or $205,000 USD - $230,000 USD - $255,000 USD for those in Boston and reflects growth from building capability in the role to fully excelling over time, with most new hires joining near the midpoint. Actual salaries may vary within the range, or above or below it, based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and business needs.
