Job Overview

Prendio-BioProcure is the leading, purpose-built eProcurement and payments platform for biotech, partnering with early-stage and scaling life-science companies to find savings and extend cash runway so scientists can focus on bringing life-changing therapies to market. Supporting hundreds of labs and billions in annual spend, our unified platform combines intuitive workflows, deep integrations, and biotech-specific expertise, and scales from new lab formation through clinical development, embedding payments, CRO, and services discovery, and data-driven insights to make procurement faster, easier, and more cost-effective.

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead a portion of our product portfolio while developing and guiding a team of product managers. This person will balance strategic leadership with direct ownership of high-impact initiatives, ensuring both strong execution discipline and forward-looking innovation. The ideal candidate thrives on mentoring others while also taking accountability for critical product lines that move the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Ownership: Lead end-to-end strategy and execution for core product areas (e.g., Payments, CRO/Services marketplace, P2P workflows).
• Team Leadership: Guide and develop product managers, raising the bar on discovery, prioritization, and delivery practices.
• Execution Discipline: Drive quarterly planning and product delivery processes; hold teams accountable for business outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, Data, Client Success, and Commercial teams to bring products to market successfully.
• Customer & Market Insight: Stay deeply connected to biotech scientists, lab operations, and finance leaders to ensure Prendio products solve meaningful problems.
• Innovation: Advance new capabilities (AI-enabled workflows, payments automation, savings programs, data insights) that extend Prendio’s differentiation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10+ years in product management with a proven track record of launching products that delivered measurable business outcomes (adoption, revenue, retention).
• Leadership Style: Hands-on leader who can both guide a team and directly own critical initiatives.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in procurement, biotech R&D operations, lab technology, or related enterprise SaaS. Experience at Prendio, Coupa, Ariba, Labviva, Quartzy, or similar platforms is a strong plus.
• Technical Fluency: Comfortable partnering with engineering and data teams on workflow automation, integrations, and AI-driven solutions.
• Customer Orientation: Deep empathy for biotech scientists, finance, and procurement stakeholders; skilled at translating needs into value-driven outcomes.
