As a Director of Product Management at PointClickCare, you will take the helm of our expanding Health Plan and ACO portfolio. Your mandate is to transform a proven suite of care-coordination, quality, and real-time data products into a disciplined growth engine. You will reshape pricing and packaging, drive adoption of new add-ons, and calibrate our product lines to meet the market’s evolving needs.

You will pair commercial instincts with technical fluency while championing modern, outcome-focused product practices. That means guiding teams to frame customer problems, run rapid experiments, measure impact, and ship results that move the business forward. You will mentor a talented set of Product Managers, instill clear discovery and delivery rhythms, and foster truly empowered cross-functional squads.

Day to day, you will partner with engineering on our clinical-data platform and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to achieve ambitious expansion and retention goals.

If you thrive on unlocking upside in industry-trusted SaaS platforms, enjoy coaching high-performing PMs in best-in-class product craft, and are comfortable navigating the complexity of healthcare data, you will find this opportunity both high-impact and career-accelerating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive deep customer understanding through continuous discovery, rapid prototyping, user testing, and experiment design, coaching teams to validate desirability, usability, feasibility, and viability early.
  • Continuously analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and regulatory shifts to inform differentiation, pricing, packaging, and product-calibration decisions.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering and UX partners, framing customer problems, testing solution approaches, and iterating until the team achieves clear outcomes that work for our customers and our business.
  • Lead and support product commercialization and go-to-market activities in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Act as the portfolio’s primary representative and advocate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Compliance, and Finance, influencing as needed to drive results.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, or a healthcare-related field of study.
  • 8+ years experience in Product Management, with demonstrated experience owning established SaaS products (≥ $20M ARR) and delivering measurable revenue or retention.
  • 3+ year experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Demonstrated mastery of outcome-driven product practices: discovery research, rapid prototyping, experiment design, agile delivery approaches, and post-launch analytics.
  • Proven ability to reshape pricing, packaging, or tiering and drive attach-rate or ARR improvements.
  • High adaptability, bias for action, and resilience in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional influencer, comfortable presenting to executive audiences and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of emerging AI tools and ability to coach teams on leveraging AI to accelerate discovery, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Strong technical fluency - can partner effectively with engineering partners on data pipelines, APIs, performance, and security requirements.

Bonus Skills:

  • Direct experience in health-tech, payer/provider workflows, or other highly regulated data domains
  • Experience managing and mentoring software product managers preferably with proven ability to grow and mentor others.
  • Demonstrated success scaling product teams through rapid organizational or market changes.
  • Implemented AI-driven features to solve problems for customers in ways only newly possible.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
